Hi,
I am trying to establish a 10G link between a ConnectX-3 Pro EN with QSA adaptor and Intel X520-DA2. The QSA part number is MAM1Q00A-QSA and should allow the 40G card to interface to a 10G card of any vendor. The problem is no link is establish and LEDs do not turn on. Both are dual port cards and work independently when connecting both ports together on the same card (link-up, LEDs on). I'm using CentOS 6.5 with kernel 2.6.32-431.5.1.el6.x86_64
The Mellanox card driver/firmware details:
driver: mlx4_en
version: 2.1-1.0.6 (Feb 24 2014)
firmware-version: 2.30.8050
bus-info: 0000:06:00.0
supports-statistics: yes
supports-test: yes
supports-eeprom-access: no
supports-register-dump: no
supports-priv-flags: no
The Intel card driver/firmware details:
driver: ixgbe
version: 3.15.1-k
firmware-version: 0x800004ef
bus-info: 0000:05:00.0
supports-statistics: yes
supports-test: yes
supports-eeprom-access: yes
supports-register-dump: yes
supports-priv-flags: no
Any advice on why these two cards don't work together? The Mellanox card is set for eth mode using the connectx_port_config tool.
