On 8th June 2015, Mellanox and ProLabs (UK) Ltd will launch a
range of LinkX copper Ethernet cables and transceivers that will enable interoperability
between Mellanox switches and NIC's and other vendor switches. This product
line has been developed to address the needs of Mellanox customers who require
flexibility and control over their network, data centre or enterprise and who
are prevented from achieving this by vendor lock downs.
The initial product launch will include LinkX cables and transceivers
that enable connection between Mellanox and Juniper, Cisco, Arista, Brocade,
Dell/Force10, Extreme, Emulex, Huawei, Intel, IBM/Blade. We will add more as
demand dictates.
The products will be available through the usual Mellanox channel
partners. We will launch the products in the EMEA Market on 8th June
to be followed quickly by Asia and the USA.
