nv_peer_mem module error to load

Hi all,

I having to problems to run the nv_peer_mem module. the error is shown as below.

[root@wnode4 nvidia_peer_memory-1.0-0]# service nv_peer_mem start

starting... ERROR: modinfo: could not find module nv_peer_mem

Module nv_peer_mem does not exist

Failed to load nv_peer_mem

I have found that the nv_peer_mem.ko module is install in my old kernel ,

[root@wnode4 nvidia_peer_memory-1.0-0]# locate nv_peer_mem.ko

/lib/modules/2.6.32-358.el6.x86_64/extra/nv_peer_mem.ko

but i am using newer kernel, as below:

[root@wnode4 nvidia_peer_memory-1.0-0]# uname -a

Linux wnode4 2.6.32-431.20.3.el6.x86_64 #1 SMP Thu Jun 19 21:14:45 UTC 2014 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

could this be the problem?.. can the nv_peer_mem.ko rebuild for the newer kernel?.
