QSFP to SFP+ splitting and configuring IP addresses on subports

Hi,

I have used a Mellanox QSFP to SFP+ splitting cable to split my QSFP interface to four SFP+ on my SX1012 switch. I want to know if its possible to assign an IP address on these sub ports (SFP+) on Mellanox switch? Following is what i was trying to do. Please guide.

switch05 [standalone: master] > enable

switch05 [standalone: master] # configure terminal

switch05 [standalone: master] (config) # interface eth 1/3/3

switch05 [standalone: master] (config interface ethernet 1/3/3) # ip address dhcp

% Interface is not Router-port

switch05 [standalone: master] (config interface ethernet 1/3/3) #
